2016/6/5 UPDATE: I have been meaning to get this page up and running for years now, but just got a good reason to do so. I found my box of photos. Some I cannot post here, but keep posted here. This will take some time to get them scanned and placed here.
2020/12/18 UPDATE: I am sad to report that on Dec. 16, 2020, Crony passed away due to complications of Covid -19. You can find out more about this by clicking the pink button below. Please send in your "Crony Stories!"
2020/12/25: I'm not liking these updates, and report bad news. Covid-19 has made it too commonplace. Scrote's youngest brother Mark passed away a day before Christmas after a 6-week battle. His journey had JUST been in the Brainerd Dispatch on the front page. He was in that "second generation" GBWC that came along in later years, and we called him "Triple Mini Scrote." See below for a roundup of the events.
2021/12/14: Check out the GBWC Photo Memories pink link toward the bottom of this page. I have added the Festus Files Folio as a scan to PDF document. He must have had a camera at one point, and has a lot of oldies, some from what I think is the 1981 Crewunion, and some from his annual Fall Down at his place. Check it out.
2021/12/11: was the Half Way to the Holidays Party at Shep's. It's is the closest were have any more to a Crewunion, so join us in 2022 on Sat., Dec. 10, just before "It's 6:00, Bob"!
2023/2/14: Going through boxes...still, I ran across a bunch of photos that were printed in 1997 and 1998. I must have just gotten my first digital camera, or it was my last 35mm, but it had a self-timer on it. This was the era we were hunting up at Badoura, and I would stop to visit Crony in Leader at Wilderness Point at his beloved Fugowie Lodge. He was quite proud of that little getaway, and later sold the Shasta to build his own little cabin! These are not all GBWC, but a lot of Elbows are to be seen. We were still pouting and smelting, though!!! Check them out here:
Our only professional photo!
Just this ONE photo will be a long story, c. 1973. This was taken at the Happy Hour Bar in Brainerd, MN, now moved and evolved into Shep's On Sixth...boy ANOTHER long story, and a separate page on this site. Photo by Mike Aulie, I think. Maybe Jerry bible.
The famous pyramid night!
Note how a few Bud or Schmidt drinkers were helping out in the early foundation stages of the monument, but in the end, it was pure GB drinkers making it to the ceiling! NO clue why we were drinking canned beer that night instead of Mug Club mugs. Maybe he offered cans for outdoor use, just dunno. Seems to me we just had pyramid-building in mind (we had a history of that), and cans stacked better than glass mugs! Mug Club Facebook group here:

Dude's plaque presentation.
This was about 1973, when, I tnink, the GBWC was seeing our good friend Dude off. I don't recall where she was going, California or somewhere, but we were throwing her a party at Ron's Squaw Point, our frequent hangout. I just don't recall if it was she who made the plaque, and presented it to us or what, and if so, why! Who can help on this?
Fert at Donnybrooke, about 1975.
We had some good times here. This photo was post the Leo & Aries deal.
Go to the photo collection link below only if you are willing to see the past. If you find a photo you would just as soon not be found here, LMK and I will remove it. On the other hand, if you have old vintage GBWC that are not terribly incriminating and you want to share, send it on in! To find photo info and a possible caption and date, click on the information dot once on the photo. You may find I have an incorrect date assigned to it, so LMK!
